Commissioned pieces often involve a balance of what your clients think they want and how you visualise the piece to be if you are allowed a hundred per cent creative freedom. The latter situation doesn’t happen often enough, and so I was really excited when I had the opportunity to explore what I wish to do for a commissioned series of paintings for a children’s playroom. And guess what – it is a series of dinosaur paintings!! 😀 I share the children’s love for dinosaurs, and surprisingly (or not) I actually knew all the cartoon characters they love and requested for in their paintings. It was such a joy working on these pieces.

Thanks @purplejazzlady once again for the wonderful opportunity! 🙂
